Wells- the secrets of Šibenik

They are situated in centre of town, 50m from the St James Cathedral (an UNESCO protected monument), the entrance facing the cathedral…

…the four wells are a complex of reservoirs from the 15 century

“Centre for visitors”, an interactive attraction which presents the history of Šibenik, a town of undiscovered secrets, presented by 7 pictures (the treasures of Šibenik, food & drink, shipwrecks in the Šibenik region, secretive faces from the past etc), also there is a café with a souvenir shop.

Theme 1: the 4 wells

•	The architecture surrounding the wells.
•	How the wells have been used throughout history.
•	The history of the use of water in Šibenik.

Theme 2: History of Šibenik.

•	-St Michael and his battle against the dragon; natural catastrophes including the plague, the siege, and bombardment.
•	The story of 4 forts and fortified Šibenik.
•	Centuries of foreign rule; Venetian, Austrian-Hungarian, and Yugoslavian.
•	Significant historical events.

Theme 3: public figures of Šibenik

•	The faces from the cathedral.
